This is great and easy to use. However, it isn’t dishwasher safe. When we put it in the dishwasher, top rack, the tub part actually shrunk. Other people have washed it without issue on the top rack, just be forewarned this could happen. The bowl part was fine and it is still useable, but the tub is small.
This is a great little water bottle but WARNING: Do NOT… repeat… DO NOT put the clear plastic part in the dishwasher!!! I guess I didn’t read the instructions, or maybe it never explicitly said it wasn’t dishwasher safe… I went back and read the product description and it doesn’t say one way or the other there, but I threw away the instructions that came with it so that’s my fault. Either way, I should have known better than to put it in the dishwasher (and yes, I had it on the top rack) and I should have washed it by hand, but I had a similar dog water bottle previously that was fine in the dishwasher and I just wasn’t thinking. Other than that I really liked it and I’m sad I ruined it! You will enjoy it if you hand wash it only! 🙊🙉🙈
If I could give this product MORE than 5-stars I would. I've had other portable water 'bowls' for my Leila, and she didn't take to any of them; however, it was a different story with this one. She instantly loved this one. I fill it half full with chipped ice, and the balance with water. It fits nicely around my wrist. She actually nudges it (and does so quite often) during our walks to let me know when she wants/needs a drink. Her mouth fits perfectly in the opening, and I truly believe it's her most favorite way to get a drink. She gets over-heated quickly, and has done so since birth. Her tongue starts to turn purple. That's when I realized we couldn't leave the house without having water with us. This is the absolute BEST investment. It's adorably cute how she alerts me when she's ready for a drink. It's durable, light weight, and not awkward to carry around one bit. You will not regret this purchase! #PuppyApproved!
This has to be the best money I’ve spent on a dog product. I have three, different – sized dogs, and it worked like a charm for each one of them. I can control the amount of water which flows into the cup, it’s so much neater than using a bowl in the car, and there was absolutely no leakage from the container itself – at all! The only thing I would do different is find one that holds more water! I will probably just buy another one!
This water bottle has been super easy to take with us on walks or to dog parks where fountains aren't available. It was also very useful for road trips. However, the water button/spring popped out after a year of use and now it no longer works. It did its job but I was hoping for more longevity out of it.

My doggie and I are pretty seasoned travelers, who just found a very practical way to carry his water bottle with us without carrying a bowl and having to discard the unwanted water left, it has a safety button so it doesn't spill and another button to release as much water as needed or retract the water left if I inside a car and cannot dispose of it on the right place, pick the blue one and is a cute color, best of all my picky dog has not problem drinking from the very spacious spoon like container when he is done I hang it from his stroller and keep on our merry way 👍🏻👍🏻
The water bottle seals without drips or leaks. Water easily flows in and out of the drinking cup portion as described and is designed to prevent splashing while our dog drinks. There was no hesitation to drink from the dispenser by our opinionated 8 pound dog who can be resistant to anything different. The wrist strap is a plus and being dropped a couple of time from short distances onto grass and inside on wood floors caused no evidence of any damage. Satisfied customer.UPDATE: The bottle was sitting in a bedroom where it was being used as our pet was recouping from a minor procedure. Suddenly the thumb presser to release water into the drinking cup popped off and traveled about 2-3 feet landing on the floor. Later I found a small spring which might have been part of the mechanism. I need to replace this as it was a useful, convenient, worked perfectly, and a frequently used item.I have decided to purchase the same item a second time being more careful not to drop it though I question that being the cause of the presser detaching from the bottle.Addendum: purchased a second identical water bottle because there were so many nice qualities that we liked. To our dismay the identical problem with the spring occurred. It pushed the operational button out of the bottle rendering it unusable. We will try something different now and hope for better results.

Just recently received the MalsiPree 12oz Dog Water Bottle Dispenser. I have used it several times and so far it works great for our needs. It's easy to take apart for easy cleaning and easy to ressemble. My medium size dog drank out of it without hesitation or spilling. The ability to fill bowl then the drain water left in the bowl back into the container is a great benefit. Used it several times in the car without spillage or any problems. If it continues to work like it does now that will be great! Just pay attention to the on off switch so you don't press it in the off position when filling or draining. The on off switch is a little hard to read. Would recommend for sure!
Worked fine until I put bottle in dishwasher- bottle shrank significantly. 2nd one I purchased is different brand that I can put in dishwasher.
